adrienne rich broadside

behind the motel  by adrienne rich.

adrienne rich was one of the first feminist poets i ever read. she opened up a world of words and possibilities to me, so when i was given the possibility of printing her poetry i jumped at it. they say you should never meet your idols, but surely there is nothing wrong with printing their words.

printed in tuscaloosa, al, with bridget elmer, as a keepsake for adrienne rich’s reading. set with lead type and a polymer illustration and printed on a vandercook proofing press
